<p>Method for resolving a collision between data packets that have collided (204, 206, 208, 210), which are transmitted independently by transmitting and receiving devices, known as stations, in one and the same random-access network, by means of which method a retransmission time (212) is reserved for the packets involved in said collision (202), during which retransmission time (212) the packets that have collided are retransmitted one by one in a retransmission order by their stations of origin and the other stations do not transmit data packets. It is characterized in that a collision-resolution device directly analyses the signal produced by the collision in order to determine the station of origin of each packet that has collided (204, 206, 208, 210) and communicate this to all stations.</p> |
