<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily calibrate detection of a visual axis of an operator. <P>SOLUTION: A calibration processing part 23 obtains prescribed positional information set according to each operation content in advance according to the detection result by an operation control part 22, that is the presence/absence of operation by a driver to an on-vehicle apparatus 12, and determines whether or not a difference between the obtained positional information and positional information of the visual axis of the driver detected by a visual axis detection part 21 (such as the position of the object of the visual axis) is smaller than a prescribed value. When the result of the determination is "YES", the detection result of an eyeball sensor 11 is calibrated according to the difference. When the result of the judgment is "NO", it is determined that the direction of the visual axis of the driver has no relation with the operation by the driver to the on-vehicle apparatus 12, and performing of the calibration is prohibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
