<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device equipped with a stirring/conveying member, wherein the cost required to provide the constitution is reduced while suppressing the deterioration in a stirring function and a conveying function due to such a failure that developer sticks to a stirring/conveying member. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 27 includes: a casing 41; a first stirring/conveying screw 47; and a developer removing unit 51. Toner can be stored in the casing 41. The first stirring/conveying screw 47 includes a shaft 61 freely rotatably provided in the casing 41 and a helical spiral 63 formed on the outer peripheral part of the shaft 61. The developer removing unit 51 includes: a plurality of spring members 83 arranged side by side in the axial direction in accordance with the helical pitch of the spiral 63 and capable of coming in contact with the spiral 63; and a holding member 81 which is held in the casing 41 and holds the plurality of spring members 83. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
