摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the deterioration in fuel economy performance by temperature rise control such as post-injection, when regenerating a DPF. <P>SOLUTION: This DPF regeneration control device of an internal combustion engine has a filter (DPF) 14 for collecting particulate matter (PM) included in exhaust gas of the engine 1, and has PM deposit quantity detecting means 10 and 33 detecting a PM deposit quantity in the DPF 14, a low crystallinity soot increasing means 10 controlling so as to increasing soot of low crystallinity when the PM deposit quantity reaches a predetermined quantity, and a temperature rise means 10 raising the temperature of the DPF 14 up to the temperature for burning the soot of the low crystallinity when the soot of the low crystallinity deposits by a predetermined quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
