<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress falling down of a rear end portion of a roof head lining at the time of inflation/deployment of an air bag, and to suitably protect an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: The air bag 22 is expanded/deployed from between the roof head lining 14 and a rear roof rail 15a to a rear side of a vehicle.
