<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument capable of reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument comprises a waveform memory 12 for recording waveform data by corresponding to addresses, and a musical sound generation part 11 for generating a plurality of musical sounds pronounced simultaneously. The musical sound generation part 11 comprises rearranging means 24, 25 for rearranging a plurality of the addresses corresponding to the plurality of the musical sounds in one to one from an original order to a prescribed order, and a plurality-of-musical sounds generator 23 for generating the musical sounds, based on a plurality of waveform data read to input the plurality of the addresses to the waveform memory 12 in the prescribed order. Then, non-use addresses corresponding to non-use waveform data not used for the musical sounds out of the plurality of the addresses are arranged to be adjacent when the plurality of the addresses are arranged in the prescribed order so as to be mutually equal. The electronic musical instrument 1 reduces the number of times modified by address values supplied to the waveform memory 12 from the musical sound generation part 11 and reduces consumption power of a transistor circuit for forming the musical sound generation part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
