<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel parting method for parting a large-sized substrate to individual optical panels surely achieving higher performance and cost reduction by improvement in productivity, versatility, workability, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The panel parting method comprises parting the optical panel formed by sticking together the two glass substrates by the scribing lines formed on the surface of the glass substrates, a thermal impact having an abrupt temperature change, wherein the temperature difference is≥50°C and a change speed of the temperature is≥30°C/min, is applied to the glass substrate in order to generate cracks at the points formed with the scribing lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
