<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate sign multiplex range finder having the large maximum search distance in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A sign multiplex range finder is composed of: a pulse inner sign generator 2 having autocorrelation of the same signs and generating small signs in correlation of different signs; a transmitter 3 for converting signs generated with the pulse inner sign generator 2 into pulse signals; a transmitting and receiving antenna 4 for receiving echoes of the pulse signals reflected on an object target; a receiver 5 for taking out the signs from the echoes of the pulse signals received with the transmitting and receiving antenna 4; a correlation unit group 7 for outputting the result by performing correlation calculation of the signs stored to be simultaneously input to each correlation unit 7a by the signs taken out from the echoes with the receiver 5 in the correlation unit group 7 composed of the correlation units 7a of the same number as the number of the different signs generated with the pulse inner sign generator 2; and a range finder for measuring a time until large signals from the correlation unit 7a storing corresponding signs are output after the signs are generated with the pulse inner sign generator 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
