PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button cell holder capable of carrying out exchange of button cells on a printed board mounted in a great number on a monitoring control device without drawing out the printed board from the monitoring control device and that, without having the button cells fall off. SOLUTION: The button cell holder is structured of a metallic fixing holder 10 fitted on the printed board 4 and having an opening in a direction parallel with the latter 4, and a metallic shifting holder 20 holding a button cell 8 with one of its electrodes exposed toward a printed board side and the other in a conductive state, and contained in the fixing holder 10 in a conductive state with it 10 by being inserted into the opening of the fixing holder 10 and made to slide on the printed board 4.
