PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board music player which can specify the position of the car and select the music suited to the position, and also to provide a music selection method and a program, necessary devices and methods, and music database used in the program. SOLUTION: This player detects the current position of the car and finds out at least one of the installations close to the current position based on the detection result.
