PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metering system, wherein when an object to be metered like "nameko mushroom" that is likely to be drastically deteriorated in freshness due to washing by water overflows, the object to be metered can be discharged from a line. SOLUTION: The metering system includes: charging conveyors 1, 2 for charging the object M to be metered into the line; a water-washing conveyor S3 conveying the charged object M to be metered while washing it by water; a metering means 11 metering the washed object Ms to be metered and bringing them together into a prescribed quantity; and a discharging means 10 for discharging the overflowing object Ms to be metered from a line Ls when the object Ms to be metered overflows which are at downstream of the charging conveyors 1, 2 and made to wash in advance by water by using the water-washing conveyor S3.
