PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrodynamic bearing with a structure capable of stably supplying a volume of fluid to be poured in a hydrodynamic space, and easily controlling a surface of the fluid to be poured. SOLUTION: This hydrodynamic bearing comprises a rotary member, an annular stationary member fastened to a side of the rotary member, an annular housing having a hollow for housing the stationary member and a cover covering a top of the stationary member, a supporting member fastened to a bottom end of the hollow of the housing and supporting a bottom of the rotary member, and a spacer interposed between the top and the cover of the stationary member and forming a fluid storage space of a cross section shape with a taper between it and the cover. The rotary member is supported by a hydrodynamic action of the fluid in the hydrodynamic space in a non-contact manner, and a fluid reserving space connecting the fluid storage space and the hydrodynamic space via the bottom of the stationary member is further provided on one side of the stationary member.
