PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide double doors with excellent beauty, which can maintain the airtightness and light blocking property of a meeting part while abolishing an astragal. SOLUTION: In the double doors composed of a main door 11 and an auxiliary door 21, stiles 12 and 22, constituting the meeting part 33 between the main and auxiliary door 11 and 21, of the main and auxiliary doors 11 and 21 are provided with a stepped surface 15 and a locking surface 25; and a closed state is maintained by contact between them. Thus, the airtightness and the light blocking properties are ensured even in the nonuse of the astragal used for conventional double doors, and a stopper function can also be concurrently provided. This enables both the front side and backside of the doors 11 and 21 to be wholly finished in a planar shape, except for accessories such as a knob 17, so that the double doors have the unprecedented novel beauty. Additionally, a tongue piece 16 and a clearance groove 26 are provided, and an elastic member 28 is arranged between the tongue piece 16 and the clearance groove 26, so as to enable an improvement in the airtightness and the light blocking properties.
