PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality coated printing sheet eliminating future problems of raw materials, reducing an environmental load and affording effective utilization of resources. SOLUTION: The coated printing sheet is obtained by coating one or both sides on a sheet-like substrate with a coating liquid consisting essentially of a pigment and an adhesive. The printing coated sheet is characterized in that eggshell calcium is contained as the pigment, and more preferably, the average particle diameter of the eggshell calcium is≥0.8 to≤1.5μm.
