LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a method of driving the same are provided to enhance display quality of the LCD device by removing a blurring phenomenon. A timing controller(200) receives image data signals from outside, and outputs first and second control signals and data signals corresponding to the image data signal. A data driver outputs first and second grayness signals in response to the first control and data signals. A gate driver outputs a gate signal in response to the second control signal. A liquid crystal panel(100) includes plural pixels(PX) and displays images in response to the first control, second control, and gate signals. The pixels include a first sub-pixel(PXa) and a second sub-pixel(PXb). The first sub-pixel alternately receives the first and second data grayness signals from the data driver. The second sub-pixel receives the first data grayness signal from the data driver.
