DISHWASHER WITH STEAM-WASHING AND DISHWASHING METHOD

A dishwasher washing dishes with steam and a method of washing the dishes are provided to keep injection force of steam discharged through some of a plurality of steam injection nozzles by opening some of control valves. A dishwasher capable of washing dishes with steam comprises a main body(1), dish baskets(28a,28b), a steamer(60), and a plurality of steam injection nozzles(70). The main body has a washing tub(2). Placed in the washing tub, the dish basket stores the dishes. The steamer produces steam by heating washing water. The steam injection nozzles inject steam produced by the steamer. The steam injection nozzles are mounted at the bottom of the dish basket at the same height with the dish basket. A method of washing the dishes includes a step of injecting steam through some of steam injection nozzles by opening some of control valves to maintain injection pressure of steam.
