<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide unknown novel and useful functions in terms of lanostane-type compound derived from Litchi chinensis. <P>SOLUTION: A T-cell activator agent comprises a lanostane-type triterpenic compound derived from Litchi chinensis as an active ingredient. The T-cell activator agent maximizes T-cell growth and cytokine production by the lanostane-type triterpenic compound or an extract of Litchi chinensis containing it.
