<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point card of a new idea which requires a shop to just deliver the point card and allows the shop to dispense with management of a card reader or the points and allows a user to sum up the points without the need of presenting the point card upon utilization, and a point management system utilizing the point card. <P>SOLUTION: The point card A is received by the user from the shop in accordance with a paid charge when merchandise is purchased or the like, (1) visible information (a) such as the advertisement and telephone number of the shop providing a service and the points c set in accordance with the paid charge are displayed on the point card A, and (2) identification information b intrinsic to the card, which is different for each card, and a two-dimensional code d are displayed.
