<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust the sampling start timing after switching in a signal receiving procedure to sample data by switching a sampling frequency in the same frame. <P>SOLUTION: A correlation detection part 13 monitors a correlation between a reception signal and a spreading code. A counter 14 is counted up by a clock generated by a clock generation part 12 so as to output a counter value that shows timing when a correlation value reaches a peak. A frequency divider 21 divides the clock generated by the clock generation part 12 into two so as to output a set of clocks respectively having a mutually reverse phase. A selector 22 selects one of a set of the clocks on the basis of a count value outputted by the counter 14.
