<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter which can alleviate luminance deterioration, further can improve bright room contrast and has a reduced weight, to provide a display device provided with the filter, and to provide a manufacturing method of the filter. <P>SOLUTION: The filter comprises: a base film; a plurality of black stripes which are disposed apart from one another at regular intervals while being embedded in the base film and are made of material of large light absorptivity; and a lenticular layer disposed on the front side of the base film and forming a lenticular structure in which a plurality of semi-cylindrical microlenses are arranged.
