<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently record necessary vehicle information in a system for recording the accident information of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This accident information recording system 10 is configured of an on-vehicle system 200 and a center system 100. The on-vehicle system 200 includes a vehicle information acquiring part 202 for acquiring vehicle information including the operating status of a vehicle; an abnormality detection part 206 for detecting the abnormality of a vehicle, and a vehicle information transmission processing part 204 for, when the abnormality is detected by the abnormality detection part 206, adding abnormality information showing that abnormality has been detected to the vehicle information acquired by the vehicle information acquisition part 202 in the timing, and for transmitting it to a center system 100.
