PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a mobile terminal device which guides the situation to the user, when the user approaches close to the destination. SOLUTION: Through a destination registering operation, a selected announcement range is registered as range information into a destination table 103b, in association with the station name and location information thereof. When an arrival announcement mode is set to on, when the present location detected by a GPS receiving section 106 is included in the range information (announcement range) registered in the destination table 103b and the user approaches close to the destination (arrival station), a microphone 109a is set to on, to collect the ambient sounds. At this time, if the user is listening to music by an earphone 109c, the collected ambient sounds are combined with music being played and are output from the earphone 109c. Thus, there is no risk where it is difficult to listen to in-car broadcasting that is provided when a train gets close to an arrival station or the broadcasting is missed, so that the situation can be guided to the user, when the user approaches close to the destination.
