PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely find a current position when a plurality of closely adjacent roads exists. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle navigation system is provided with a means for storing an allowance value of centrifugal force acting on a vehicle, a means for acquiring a vehicle speed, a means for finding the current position, a curve radius acquiring means for acquiring a curve radius of the road on a map with the current position existing therein, a centrifugal force calculating means for finding the centrifugal force acting on the vehicle, based on the curve radius, the vehicle speed and a prescribed weight, and a current position correcting means for finding again the current position, when the centrifugal force calculated by the centrifugal force calculating means exceeds the allowance value.
