PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage device improving heat exchange performance with a fluid to be heated by applying vibration and agitation to a latent heat storage agent generally not having favorable thermal conductivity, by a simple composition with easy maintenance or the like. SOLUTION: The heat storage device 1 is provided with: the latent heat storage agent 4 to be solid when it does not store heat, and liquid when storing heat; a heat storage container 2 housing the latent heat storage agent 4; and a vibration generation means 10 for applying vibration to the heat storage container 2. It is characterized in that the vibration generating means 10 applies vibration to the latent heat storage agent 4 via the heat storage container 2. The heat storage improving heat exchange performance with a fluid to be heated is provided by applying vibration and agitation to the latent heat storage agent 4 generally not having favorable thermal conductivity, by a simple composition.
