PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fallout of a pin holder for holding a fixed pin of a rotator from a pin holder storage part. SOLUTION: This rotation sensor includes the rotator rotated by being mounted on a rotator to be measured; a case for storing the rotator; a detection part for detecting rotation of the rotator; each fixing pin penetrating in series into each pin insertion hole bored on each corresponding positions of the case and the rotator, for holding the rotation position of the rotator to the detection part on a neutral position; and the pin holder storage part 3 mounted on the case, for storing the pin holder 1 comprising a rubbery elastic body for holding extractably the fixing pin 4 penetrating into each pin insertion hole 1c. In the rotation sensor wherein the pin holder 1 includes a projection part 1b fixed to the pin holder storage part 3, an escape part 3b for storing the projection part 1b of the pin holder 1 is provided in the pin holder storage part 3, and a protrusion portion 2 is provided on a part other than the projection part 1b on the pin holder 1 side face.
