PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample analyzer capable of controlling a liquid sending state in a liquid channel of a microchip with a simple constitution, even with a trace quantity of a liquid sample. SOLUTION: In this sample analyzer X, the microchip A is used for analyzing the object liquid, which is formed by connecting through the liquid channel 10, a liquid storage part 30 for storing liquid, an analysis part 20 for analyzing the liquid acquired from the liquid storage part 30, and a waste liquid storage part 40 for storing liquid finished in analysis. A chip holding part 50 for holding the microchip A is constituted rotatably by a driving means B, and constituted so that the microchip A can be held to be positioned in the order of the liquid storage part 30, analysis part 20 and waste liquid storage part 40 toward the outside from a rotation center Z of the chip holding part 50.
