PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the most suitable compact double-sided display type liquid crystal module for use in a portable information terminal device, by resolving the problem of destruction or the like of a sub-liquid crystal panel when placing the sub-liquid crystal panel on a metallic rear case. SOLUTION: A metallic rear case 40 disposed on the rear side of a main liquid crystal panel 20 constituting a double-sided display type liquid crystal module 1 is provided with an opening 42 corresponding to a sub-liquid crystal panel 60, and a resin frame 50 is detachably installed in the opening 42, and the sub-liquid crystal panel 60 is attached to the resin frame 50, so that the sub-liquid crystal panel 60 and the rear case 40 are not brought into direct contact with each other.
