PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid state curable resin composition giving a cured material having a suitable Young's modulus as an optical fiber-covering material and excellent in strength at break. SOLUTION: This liquid state curable resin composition contains the following components (A), (B) and (C) by taking 100 mass% total of the composition. Provided that, (A) 30-90 mass% polyether-based urethane(meth)acrylate oligomer, (B) 5 to 65 mass% ethylenically unsaturated group-containing compound, and (C) 0.1 to 10 mass% polymer other than the component (A) and having (meth)acryloyl group at least at one of the molecular terminals, 3,000 to 50,000 weight-average molecular weight based on polystyrene, obtained by a gel permeation chromatographic method (hereinafter called as the "weight-average molecular weight"), and also 1 to 1.5 ratio of the weight-average molecular weight to the number-average molecular weight.
