PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable resin composition for a light scattering layer of a light scattering sheet using an organic solvent-soluble biodegradable polyester resin, in more detail, a biodegradable polyester resin composition for a light scattering sheet, which is a resin composition comprising light-focusing beads dispersed by using a polyester resin (A), keeps transparency and has excellent adhesivity and heat resistance and is useful for improvement in contrast of especially a liquid crystal display, etc. SOLUTION: The biodegradable polyester resin composition for light scattering sheets comprises light-focusing beads dispersed in a polyester resin (A) that contains 80-100 mol% of a lactic acid residue, has the molar ratio (L/D) of L-lactic acid to D-lactic acid of 1-9 and is soluble in a solvent.
