PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing process of a barium titanate powder being reduced in the content of impurities. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing process, the barium titanate powder is hydrothermally synthesized from a titanium compound and a barium compound. A titanium compound showing a pH of≥6.6 and≤10 is used for the titanium compound. The concentrations of the titanium compound and the barium compound are≥1.0 mol/L respectively.
