PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform retrieval after failure without accompanied by failure of a machine when a failure of a control means for raising a boom and an electric failure are generated in a halt of a crane. SOLUTION: In the boom fixing device for the container crane, a support frame 19 is provided on an apex part structure body 9 erected on a container crane body, a boom fixing hook 20 is provided on a distal end of the support frame 19, and a boom fixing pin 22 at a boom side is engaged by the boom fixing hook 20 to restrict motion of the standing boom 5 to the apex part iron structure 9. An actuator 24 is provided on the support frame 19, a cylinder clevis 28 having a long hole is provided on a distal end of the actuator 24, and a boom latch pin provided on the boom fixing hook 20 is engaged with the long hole of the cylinder clevis 28.
