PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container crane with sufficient maintenance workability and responsiveness. SOLUTION: In the container crane, a wire rope 8 drawn out from a drum 11 is wound between a sheave group 12 provided on a trolley 6 and a sheave group 13 provided on a hanging unit 7 via a girder end sheave 4. The girder end sheave is rotatably provided on a lengthy sheave bracket 20. Further, one end of the sheave bracket 20 is rockably and pivotally supported and an actuator 22 for sheave bracket rocking is connected to the other end of the sheave bracket.
