PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material which has no trouble in assembly, is transported and inserted easily, and a corrugated cardboard deformable to be the cushioning material. SOLUTION: This corrugated cardboard 1 for cushioning includes a bias section 7 and a positioning face 3 having an opening 6 for positioning a product. When the bias section 7 is folded, a bias force is generated by the restoration force trying to restore to a shape before being folded and the positioning face 3 is biased to be separated from the section 7 by the bias force.
