Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus and system of selectively scanning a wireless communication band. In some demonstrative embodiments the method may include, for example, selectively scanning in response to a request to scan a wireless communication band, at least part of the wireless communication band based on a user-customized scanning profile.
