The rearing tank for water life, especially for intensive fish feeding, has an independent pump which produces a permanent flow along the whole length of the tank. At least two flow circuits are provided in the production module (1), specifically a permanent flow (4) and a flow (5) through a cleaning and treatment stage. The permanent flow flows through the device for sedimentation via a lamella separator (24) and in doing so blocks suspended matter and sediment and collects it in a denitrification section (23).
