A novel compound of the formula(I) of a (R) isomer and a sodium salt form is provided to prevent coagulation of blood platelet, blood clot, proliferation and blood contraction, thereby being used as an anti-atherothrombotic agent for secondary prevention of vascular disorders. A pharmaceutical composition for treating cerebrovascular diseases of patients previously experiencing cerebral blood vessel accident comprises 3-{6-[(4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)amino]-2-methyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphth-1-yl}propionic acid represented by the formula(I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the compound of the formula(I) is in the form of an (R)-form enantiomer and a sodium salt thereof.
