A mixed refrigerant, and a refrigerant composition containing the mixed refrigerant for replacing R12 and R500 are provided to lower ODP(ozone depletion potential) and GWP(global warming potential), to improve compatibility with various oils and to allow the refrigerant composition to be applied to a refrigerator without the exchange of equipment. A mixed refrigerant comprises 10-90 wt% of chlorodifluoromethane; and 10-90 wt% of dimethyl ether. The refrigerant composition comprises 50-99 wt% of the mixed refrigerant; and 1-50 wt% of a material selected from the group consisting of trifluoromethyl iodide(CF3I), pentafluoroethane(CHF2CF3, R125), 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane(CF3CHFCF3, R227ea), carbon dioxide(CO2), and their mixture.
