The device has a conveying unit that is arranged in an area of a carrier rail. The carrier rail rotating on a path forms a transport unit that is provided with a bottle set (4). The transport unit is taken up by a conveying drive from a bottle filling system to a drive direction. Bottles (2) are misaligned for the connection with the carrier rail. Retaining holes with a closed edge contour are provided in the carrier rail. The carrier rail is combined in the area of bottle inlet and collection, where carrier rail bottle units are provided in a steady position.
