A simulation system for manufacturing an LED(Light Emitting Diode) and a simulation method are provided to enhance the uniformity of an optical power distribution, to prolong the lifetime of the LED, and to reduce a development period of products by expressing optical characteristic of the LED with the position function. Structural data are prepared, wherein the structural data are capable of expressing a physical structure of an LED as a first position function(102). Resistive data are prepared, wherein the resistive data are capable of expressing resistive characteristics of the LED as a second position function(103). Optical distribution data are extracted by using the structural data and the resistive data, wherein the optical distribution data are capable of expressing optical characteristics of the LED as a third position function(105).
