A mountain monorail system is provided to allow a monorail car to travel a curved section easily by installing a flexible device in a body of the monorail car. A mountain monorail system comprises a guideway(200) and a monorail car. The guideway(200) has a stopper(210) at two sides thereof, and has a rack-rail at a middle part of a top surface thereof. The monorail car includes a body for carrying passengers or freight, and a bogie which is integrally formed with a lower part of the body and surrounds the guideway(200). The bogie includes a pair of traveling wheels(111), a guiding wheel(112), a horizontal safety wheel(113), a vertical safety wheel(114) and a rack wheel(115). The wheels travel while making contact with the guideway(200).
