System comprises a central rectifier unit (31) supplied with an alternating voltage (35), operating devices (33) for a light (34) and a direct current bus (32) which supplies the operating devices with a voltage. The rectifier unit has a switch for monitoring the condition of the bus to evaluate the defined load condition changes of the bus as a return signal from one operating device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Method for the remote control of operating devices for a light; and (2) Computer software program product used in the above method. Preferred Features: The original identification, type of return signal and/or frequency of the load condition changes of the bus are coded.
