A device of removing an end cap of a shield plug for a heavy water reactor pressure tube is provided to detach an end cap from the shield plug by moving a housing. A device of removing an end cap of a shield plug for a heavy water reactor pressure tube includes a body(110), a sliding member(130), a first spring(120), a plurality of locking balls(140), a housing(150), and a second spring(160). A first tube body is formed on an end of the body(110). A second tube body having a smaller diameter than the first tube body is extended from the first tube body and is formed on the end of the body(110). A plurality of circular holes are formed along a circumference plane of the second tube body. A knob is formed on the other end of the body(110). The sliding member(130) is slidably formed along the circumference of the second tube body. The first spring(120) is installed between the sliding member and the body(110), and elastically supports the sliding member (130). The plurality of locking balls(140) are located on the circular holes. The housing(150) is slidably formed along an outer circumference plane of the second tube body, and has a ball receiving groove on an inner circumference. The second spring(160) is installed between the housing(150) and the body (110), and elastically supports the housing(150).
