An optical information reproducing device, a tracking servo control device and a method for controlling tracking are provided to reduce bit error rate by judging state of present tracking by using adjoining reproduced beam. A device for reproducing optical information comprises a reference beam supplying unit(100), a reproduced beam treating unit(200), an optical information detecting unit(400), a tracking servo unit(500), and a tracking servo control unit(300). The reference beam supplying unit irradiating the reference beam to a predetermined location of an optical information storing medium. The reproduced beam treating unit divides reproduced beam projected from the optical information storing medium, for detected reproduced beam or at least one adjoining reproduced beam and detects optical information of divided adjoining reproduced beam. The optical information detecting unit detects optical information of detected reproduced beam. The tracking servo unit response to control signal and regulates location of the reproduced beam treating unit. The tracking servo control unit analyzes optical information of the adjoining reproduced beam, and applies control signal to the tracking servo unit according to the result.
