SENSOR INCLUDING CARBON NANOTUBES, AND PROCESSES FOR PREPARING THE SENSOR

A method for measuring crack and corrosion using a sensor employing carbon nano tubes is provided to improve sensitivity and to increase linearity by dispersing the carbon nano tubes in polymer to produce a composite material. A sensor(100) has a body part(110), and first and second electrode parts(120,130). The body part is made of a composite material including polymer and carbon nano tubes placed in the polymer. The first and second electrode parts are connected to one part and the other part of the body part respectively. The body and the first and second electrode parts are electrically bonded by a electrical conduction adhesive unit(160). The sensor includes a measurement object(140), and an electric insulating layer(150). The composite material is formed by dispersing the carbon nano tubes in the polymer.
