A method for regulating tilt of an optical disk device is provided to minimize an error when regulating tilt and to record or reproduce for a curved-disk normally by using reflective signal of a side beam which has improved reliability. A method for regulating tile of an optical disk device comprises the steps detecting reflective signal of a side beam at an endostyle of the optical disk when inserting the optical disk(S11), detecting optimized tile regulation value on the basis of reflective signal of the detected side beam(S31), detecting reflective signal of the side beam at a periphery of the optical disk(S32), detecting optimized tilt regulation value on the basis of reflective signal of the detected side beam(S51), and regulating tilt by detecting optimized tilt regulation value at the present position, on the basis of detected tilt regulation value(S62).
