METHOD FOR FUNCTIONAL TREATMENT OF AFFECTED MORTISE JOINT

FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics. ^ SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to carry out reposition of fragments, affected segment "shin-foot" of a limb should be fixed with combined bandage out of gypsum and polymeric bandages. Then one should fulfill stage-by-stage shortening of gypsum bandage: at the first stage it should be shortened according to Lisfranc's joint or Chopart's joint along rear and plantar surfaces. At the second stage gypsum bandage should be shortened according to mortise joint along rear and plantar surface. Then one should form "a foramen" in area of heel's tuber and Achilles tendon. The innovation provides simultaneous reconstruction of motor function of affected segment of the limb and additional stabilization of mortise joint. ^ EFFECT: shortened terms of therapy. ^ 4 dwg, 1 ex
