METHOD FOR EVALUATING PSYCHOLOGICAL PREPAREDNESS OF A SPORTSMAN DURING COMPETITIONS

FIELD: medicine, sport physiology. ^ SUBSTANCE: before the start or before the game and after the finish or after the game at similar respiration it is necessary to register a sportsman's systolic arterial pressure (SAP) and heart rate (HR) and carry out the sportsman's evaluation of psychological preparedness (EPP) should be calculated by the following formula: EPP in c.u. = 100*(1-HR before the start/HR after the finish) + 100*(1-SAP before the start/SAP after the finish); EPP in c.u. = 100*(1-HR before the game/HR after the game) + 100*(1-SAP before the game/SAP after the game). In case of negative result one should detect a sportsman's psychological unpreparedness for the competition, and at positive result - the preparedness for the competition, moreover, the higher positive result the higher sportsman's psychological preparedness for the competition should be observed and vice versa.
