Blade-holding device for a rotating electrical machine

The device (10) has a support (12) mechanically connected to a rotating electrical machine e.g. electric starter, and including an opening that is provided for passage of an armature shaft of the machine. An electrically conducting element (14) connected to a voltage source is placed in the opening of the support. Two half-plates (16A, 16B) mechanically connects the element to the support. Cages are integrated to the support for receiving two pairs of brushes. The brushes cooperate with a commutator, and a rear bearing has a hollow shape.
