An apparatus and a method for controlling warming temperature of an electric pressure rice cooker are provided to optimize the warming temperature of the rice cooker by controlling warming temperature of the rice cooker according to the temperature of outer air and a warming temperature mode. An apparatus for controlling warming temperature of an electric pressure rice cooker comprises a mode control unit(110), an outer air sensor(120), a bottom sensor(130), a top heater drive unit(150), a lid sensor(210), a lateral heater drive unit(160), a main heater drive unit(170), and a control unit(140). The mode control unit controls modes determining the warming temperature of the rice cooker. The bottom sensor senses the temperature of the air outside the rice cooker. The heater drive unit drives a top heater(180) heating the upper part of the rice cooker. The lid sensor senses the temperature at the upper part of the rice cooker. The lateral heater drive unit drives a lateral heater(190) heating the lateral part of the rice cooker. The main heater drive unit drives a main heater(200) heating the lower part of the rice cooker. The control unit controls the top heater drive unit, the lateral heater drive unit, and the main heater drive unit according to modes of the mode control unit and the temperature of the outside air sensed by the outer air sensor. If a mode of the mode control unit is a first mode or the temperature sensed by the outer air sensor is greater than set outside air temperature or equal to set outside air temperature, the control unit outputs a control signal to the lateral heater drive unit and the main heater drive unit when the temperature output by the bottom sensor is less than a first set temperature. The control unit cuts off the control signal output to the lateral heater drive unit and the main heater drive unit when the temperature output by the bottom sensor is greater than the first set temperature. |
