The proposed device for determining the penetrability of a rock sample contains a chamber for placing the sample, a pressure controller for liquid or compressed air, a pressure meter, and a flow rate transducer for liquid or compressed air. The pressure controller is designed for gradually changing the pressure and keeping the specified pressure of liquid or compressed air. The pressure controller is designed as two hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders. The rods of the cylinders are connected with each other. The cavity of each cylinder on the side of the rod is connected with the corresponding nozzle of the chamber. The proposed device is distinctive by its enhanced accuracy and capacity.
